Saturday, April 25 ó Miss Manners Tea Party: Make newspaper hats and corsages so you will be appropriately dressed for your lesson with Miss Manners (Sue Dodd). Mom/Grandmom will make their own, too! Bring your hat to the Mother’s Day Hat Contest in May. Learn the basic niceties of proper dining.
Saturday, May 9 ó Mother’s Day Tea and Hat Contest: Here’s your chance to show off that gorgeous hat of yours! Judging will be done by the Rowan Renowned Hat Lady herself, Kim Sheeks. The event will feature author Gail Gurley and her book “Tales from the Sunroom.”
Saturday, June 13 ó Make a bowling pin bug. Cute as yard art! Moms/Grandmoms make bowling balls! With Sue Davis, artist and Master Gardener extraordinaire. Featuring Cathy Eller, local author, with her bug-themed books, and Duprix the Poodle Bee. Optional bug-themed luncheon, too.
