N.C. Research Campus to host life sciences seminar

The N.C. Research Campus will host “Biotechnology for the Non-Scientist” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 16 at the David H. Murdock Core Laboratory Building in Kannapolis.

This life sciences seminar will cover an introduction to the science behind the biotech industry. It will describe biotech-related products, businesses and jobs, as well as involving audience members in a discussion of how these all fit together for the future of the community.
The presenter is K. Paul Knott, curriculum coordinator of the BioNetwork BioBusiness Center at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
The BioNetwork is presenting the seminar in cooperation with Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
