NCAA Tournament: Guilford loses in D-3 semifinals

SALEM, Va. ó Sean Wallis scored 11 straight points in a 16-0 run as defending national champion Washington of Missouri broke open a close game and beat Guilford College 77-58 in the semifinals on the NCAA Division III national semifinals.
Washington (28-2), located in St. Louis, had seen its 11-point second-half lead cut to five before Wallis shit three consecutive 3-pointers.
Clay Henson hit five 3-pointers and led Guilford (25-6) with 23 points. The Quakers were making their first appearance in the semifinals.
