From staff reports
Carson’s baseball team is 3-0 after scoring seven runs with two outs in the fifth inning to beat NPC foe Mooresville 9-5 on Thursday.
“It’s the biggest win in our program’s history,” Carson coach Chris Cauble said. “In the past, we’ve beaten the teams we were supposed to beat. This is our first really big upset. Mooresville is a legitimate contender so our guys are pretty excited right now.”
