Concord author and Hospice nurse Kathy Summer will sign copies of her novel, “Angel Second Class,” during the Saturday Salon at Literary Bookpost on Saturday, March 14, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
A graduate of Winston-Salem State University and the Cabarrus School of Nursing, Summer is married and the mother of two sons.
“Angel Second Class” is a dramatized account of some of the people who are touched through the work of hospice. It is a love story that follows hospice nurse Joan McRae into the homes, lives and relationships of several families. In helping her patients and their families, McRae receives clarity in her own life. “Angel Second Class” is a montage of moving love stories and will touch the heart of everyone who has ever lost a loved one and had to live on.
Literary Bookpost is at 119 S. Main St., downtown Salisbury. For additional information about this event and future upcoming events, call 704-630-9788 or visit www.literarybookpost.com.
