Genesis honors
The following staff members were honored at a recent general staff meeting with service pins for their years of dedication they have provided to the residents of Mooresville Center/Genesis HealthCare.
A 15-year pin was awarded to Allison Reid, housekeeping aide, and Stephanie Westmoreland, unit secretary.
A 10-year pin was awarded to Jill Higginbotham, unit secretary.
A one-year pin was awarded to Dorothy Hicks, Crystal Roaten and Leah Tyger, all certified nursing assistants.
Yawn Patrol Zone
Yawn Patrol Zone Toastmasters met Feb. 17t at United Cabarrus Insurance.
Ann Carroll was Toastmaster. Jeff Fearn was voted Best Speaker, Toni Stovall was voted Best Table Topics and Best Evaluator.
The club’s annual International Speech and Table Topics Contest will be held at the March 17 meeting, with the public invited to attend.
