Clarification
– County Commissioner Tina Hall made the motion to support a resolution calling for approval of the North Carolina Marriage Amendment, a proposal for a statewide vote on amending the N.C. Constitution to specify the only marriage that will be recognized in the state is that between a man and a woman. Commissioner Raymond Coltrain seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
