ACC football schedules: N.C. State
RALEIGH (AP) ó N.C. State’s football team can make itself comfortable in the state.
The 2009 schedule will keep the Wolfpack in North Carolina until mid-October.
N.C. State plays four of its school-record eight home games in September and doesn’t leave the state until an Oct. 17 trip to Boston College.The marquee nonconference home games are a Thursday night opener against South Carolina on Sept. 3 and a Sept. 26 visit from Pittsburgh.
The Wolfpack plays two FCS teams ó Murray State on Sept. 12 and Gardner-Webb a week later.
The season closes against North Carolina for the first time since 1998. N.C. State’s two rotating Coastal Division opponents are Duke and Virginia Tech.
