STORRS, Conn. ó Hasheem Thabeet had eight points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks to lead No. 1 Connecticut to its 12th straight victory, handing No. 23 Syracuse its fifth loss in six games.
A.J. Price had 17 points for the Huskies (23-1, 11-1 Big East).
Jonny Flynn had 16 points for Syracuse (18-7, 6-6).
No. 2 Oklahoma 78, Baylor 63
WACO, Texas ó Blake Griffin had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Sooners (24-1, 10-0 Big 12), who won their 30th consecutive game over Baylor (15-9, 3-7), a streak that dates back to December 1977.
No. 8 Memphis 63, Tulsa 37
MEMPHIS, Tenn. ó Robert Dozier scored a career-high 23 points, Tyreke Evans added 13 and No. 8 Memphis won its 15th straight.
The Tigers (21-3, 9-0 Conference USA) won their 51st consecutive game in league play.
Dayton 71, No. 14 Xavier 58
DAYTON, Ohio ó Chris Wright led a balanced offense with 19 points, and Dayton ended its six-game losing streak against No. 14 Xavier.
Using its depth and balance to full advantage, Dayton (22-3, 8-2) led the entire game against the defending two-time conference champions, who now have to work to make it three in a row. Xavier (20-4, 8-2) has lost back-to-back games for the second time this season.
No. 20 Purdue 61, Penn State 47
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. ó JaJuan Johnson had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and No. 20 Purdue moved into a tie for second place in the Big Ten.
Bobby Riddell scored a career-high 13 points, Nemanja Calasan scored 12 and E’Twaun Moore added 10 for the Boilermakers (18-6, 7-4).

TOWSON, Md. ó Jarrel Smith scored 18 points to lead five Towson players in double figures, and the Tigers outscored Georgia State 15-5 in overtime to seal an 82-72 win on Wednesday night.
Former West Rowan star Junior Hairston added 14 points, Josh Thornton 12, and David Brewster and Brian Morris had 10 apiece for the Tigers (9-17, 4-10 Colonial Athletic Association).

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ó Tyler Smith scored 15 points, leading Tennessee to an easy 79-48 victory.
LSU 97, Mississippi State 94
STARKVILLE, Miss. ó Tasmin Mitchell had a career high 41 points, including a decisive three-point play in double overtime, to give LSU a 97-94 victory over Mississippi State.

CHARLESTON, S.C. ó Andrew Goudelock scored 25 points and College of Charleston defeated Western Carolina 78-67.
After leading 16-13 with 12:49 left in the first half, College of Charleston (18-6, 10-4 Southern Conference) scored 15 unanswered points.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va ó Danny Sumner notched a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 boards, to lead William & Mary in a 69-40 win over North Carolina-Wilmington (6-20, 3-11).
UNC Asheville 87, Gardner-Webb 78, OT
ASHEVILLE ó Reid Augst scored 28 points and J.P. Primm scored nine of his 13 points in overtime as North Carolina-Asheville rallied to beat Gardner-Webb 87-78.
