DALLAS ó Mike Ribeiro and James Neal each scored twice to help the Dallas Stars rout the stumbling New York Rangers 10-2 on Friday night.
Brian Sutherby, Brad Richards, Jere Lehtinen, Fabian Brunnstrom, Steve Ott and Darryl Sydor also scored for the Stars.
Nikolai Zherdev had both goals for the Rangers, 0-3-1 in their last four games. The Rangers have scored two goals or fewer in 11 of their last 18 games.
Penguins 4, Blue Jackets 1
PITTSBURGH ó Kris Letang had his second two-goal game in 10 days and Pittsburgh won successive games for only the second time in 21/2 months.
Sidney Crosby set up both of Letang’s goals and scored into an empty net in the final minute for the Penguins, who had lost three of four but moved within one point of the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Marc-Andre Fleury made 33 saves but was denied his third shutout of the season when Kristian Huselius threw the puck on net from a bad angle.
Devils 5, Thrashers 1
ATLANTA ó Kevin Weekes made 31 saves, and New Jersey scored three goals in the first 12 minutes to recover from its only loss in three weeks.
Zach Parise and John Madden each had a goal and an assist, and Travis Zajac, David Clarkson and Brian Gionta also scored.

BUFFALO, N.Y. ó Ryan Miller made 35 saves, and Nathan Paetsch, Jaroslav Spacek and Tim Connolly scored to help Buffalo win its fifth straight home game.
Predators 2, Wild 0
ST. PAUL, Minn. ó Dan Ellis made 22 saves for a shutout, and Jason Arnott and David Legwand scored to help Nashville win its fourth straight and fifth in six games since the All-Star break.
