Words of Love writing contest
The Words of Love Contest, sponsored by The Writers’ Workshop of Asheville, is now open, with entries accepted through March 20.
Any writer may enter a story, poem or essay for this contest. The prizes are: first, $300; second, $200; and third, $100. Up to 10 Honorable Mentions will also be picked. For complete guidelines, visit our Web site at www.twwoa.org.
Send in a story, poem or essay of 3,500 words or less. Include your name, address, e-mail and title of work.
The entry fee per submission is $20 (or $15 for Workshop members). Multiple entries are accepted.
Enclose legal size self-sealing SASE for critique and list of winners. Please make check or money order payable to The Writers’ Workshop, and mail to: W.O.L. Contest, 387 Beaucatcher Road, Asheville NC 28805.
