Alexander GordonA son, Alexander Scott, was born to Ashley and Brandon Gordon of Knoxville, Tenn., on Dec. 19, 2008, at Baptist Hospital for Women. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. Grandparents are John and Dovey Smith of Salisbury, and Cyndi Gordon and Ed Gordon, both of Gardner. Great-grandparents are Evelyn Sellers and Bobby Sellers of Fayetteville.
Andrew Boyle
A son, Andrew Brian, was born to Brian and Kristen Cude Boyle of Salisbury on Dec. 26, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds, 1/2 ounce. Grandparents are Keith and Sarah Cude of Lexington and Dennis and Rita Boyle of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Annelle Courtney of Lexington, Norman and Edna Cude of Winston-Salem and Rose Boyle of Salisbury.
Ava Glover
A daughter, Ava Elise, was born to Bradley and Kendra Miller Glover of Concord on Dec. 26, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Grandparents are Cynthia and Gene Miller of Landis and Marie and Lynn Glover of Concord.
Elena Cunningham
A daughter, Elena Kate, was born to Emily and Justin Cunningham of Huntersville on Dec. 18, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are Dean and Betsy Cunningham of Salisbury and Walter and Shirley Miller of Boone. Great-grandparents are Ann Coughenour Boyd of Salisbury, Tommy and Olivia Cunningham of Asheville, and Grady and Helen Barnes of Boone.
Phillip Leonard
A son, Phillip Lance, was born to Matthew and Jennifer Leonard on Jan. 17, 2009, at Thomasville Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces. He has a brother, Steven. Grandparents are Phil and Pat Leonard of Salisbury and Sherry and Warren Pagels and Tim and Sherri Troutman, all of Lexington.
Brantley Diliello
A son, Brantley Garrett, was born to Jason and Kori Freeman Diliello of Salisbury on Jan. 18, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. He has a brother, Jason Diliello Jr., 8, and a sister, Madison Miller, 2 1/2. Grandparents are Rose and David Freeman of Rockwell, Donna and Robert Hobart of Salisbury and Debbie and Frank Lewis of Freeville, N.Y. Great-grandparents are Lucille Patterson of Rockwell and Peggy Earnhardt of Salisbury.
Katie Stirewalt
A daughter, Katie Grace, was born to Jennifer and Douglas Stirewalt of China Grove on Jan. 9, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 3.5 ounces. She has a brother, Phillip Stirewalt, 4. Grandparents are Dewey and Sheila Bradshaw Barringer of Salisbury and John and Betty Stirewalt of China Grove.
Harper Corriher
A daughter, Harper Elizabeth, was born to Jay and Kim Corriher of Stanley on June 14, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville. She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces. She has a brother, Hunter, 4, and s a sister, Haley, 7. Grandparents are Jim and Sherry Corriher of Cornelius and Norman and Vikki Gaver of Huntersville. Margaret Talbert of Rockwell is great-grandparent.
