Salisbury swept J.m. Robinson in a jayvee doubleheader on Friday.
The Hornet girls (3-0) won 27-24 behind Doreen Richardson’s eight points and Najwa Allison’s seven.
The Hornet boys (2-1) won 39-30. Tion McCain scored 13 points and DeJoun Jones had 11.
n Knox coaches
Knox Middle school is looking for experienced head coaches for baseball and soccer for the 2009 season.

n Cabarrus Stallions
The Rowan-Cabarrus Homeschoolers middle school boys beat Back Creek Christian 31-12 as Jordan Long scored 10 and Grant Stroller had nine.
The Stallions (2-5) lost to Gaston Day 46-43. Stroller had 15 points, Long 10 and Brandon Adams 10.
The Stallions lost to Lake Norman Homeschoolers 37-25. Long had 15 points and Corbin Riley six.
– The junior varsity boys beat Lake Norman 79-36 as Jason Long scored 26 points. Sam Nelson had 12 points and 10 rebounds. James Dare scored 10.
Nelson had 15 points and nine rebounds in a 65-47 loss to Faith Christian. Jason Long scored nine for the jayvees (5-1).
– The Stallion varsity girls thrashed Mooresville Christian 51-32 behind 21 points from Hannah Holm. Nikki Milo scored 12 and Rebecca Bare dominated the boards with 11 rebounds.
The girls improved to 3-2 by beating Kennedy Charter 54-35. Holm had 20 points and Milo eight.
Cheaile Miller scored 31 of Kennedy’s 35.
n North Hills
The North Hills varsity boys beat Countryside Montessori 69-28. The Eagles were paced by D’shon Taylor with 27 points and 19 rebounds.
Carson Mann scored nine, Patrick Michael eight and Dustin Pruitt six.
The Eagles improved their record to 4-4.
The elementary boys won their season opener by beating the Cabarrus Stallions 31-10. Wes Fazia scored 11 points.
