Symphony’s Christmas tour this weekend features beautiful homes, beautiful music

When the Salisbury-Rowan Symphony Guild’s annual Christmas Homes Tour takes place this weekend in The Crescent, there will be plenty of music to make the event even more festive.
Tour hours are 2-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Following is a schedule of performances:
Saturday, Dec. 6
– 2 p.m. ó Sunshine Grubbs, harpist, home of Bill and Shari Graham, 2719 Crenshaw Court.
– 2 p.m. ó Dotty Clement, keyboard, home of Mike and Lynn Mills, 205 Hogans Valley Way.
– 2:30 p.m. ó Salisbury Academy Children’s Chorus, Crescent Pool and Club House, 230 Laurel Valley Way.
– 2:30 p.m. ó Jim Hunter, guitar, home of David and Charlotte Hall, 2895 Byron Drive.
– 4 p.m . ó Paul Cline, violin, home of Mike and Lynn Mills, 205 Hogans Valley Way.
– 5 p.m. ó First Presbyterian Chamber Choir at home of David and Charlotte Hall, 2895 Byron Drive.
There will also be strolling carolers between the homes on Saturday ó the Wendy Weant Ensemble and Salisbury High School’s Honor Chorus.
Sunday, Dec. 7
– 2 p.m. ó Polka Dots polka band, home of Bill and Shari Graham, 2719 Crenshaw Court.
– 2:30 p.m. ó Carole Young, flute, home of John and Leigh Harlan, 315 Hogans Valley Way.
– 3 p.m. ó Jean Wurster and Dr. Bill Batterman, flute duet, home of Bill and Shari Graham, 2719 Crenshaw Court.
– 3 p.m. ó Graham Carlton, guitar, home of Mike and Lynn Mills, 205 Hogans Valley Way.
– 3 p.m. ó Carrie Webster, violin, home of Banks and Faye Cline, 3205 Winged Foot Drive.
– 4 p.m. ó Lorna Brown, accordion, home of David and Cathy Varner, 504 Sarazan Way.
