Carter Crotts
A son, Carter Lee, was born to Katie Basinger and Travis Lee Crotts of Woodleaf on Oct. 17, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. He has a sister, Sollei Basinger, 6. Grandparents are Tammy Ginn Knight of Woodleaf, the late Ricky Lee Crotts, and Jim and Cindy Basinger of China Grove. Great-grandparents are Wade and Novella Crotts and Buddy and Betty Waller, all of Woodleaf, and Dale Ginn of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Great-great-grandparents are Minnie Crotts of Salisbury, Viola Williams of Knoxville, Dot Freeze of China Grove and Ruby and Jim Tyson of Kannapolis.
Hunter Treece
A son, Hunter Ray, was born to Donna Racquel Shehan and Brenton Ray Treece of Salisbury on Aug. 25, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 .5 ounces. Grandparents are Renae and Ronnie Shehan and Michael Christie, all of Salisbury, and Tracy and Tommy Howard and Kenny Treece, all of Kannapolis. Great-grandparents are Sandra Boardman, Leroy Boardman, Ruth Shehan, Janet Christie and Ralph and Peggy Christie, all of Salisbury, Kenneth Treece of Kannapolis, and Wayne Smith of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Aedan Duerr
A son, Aedan Payne, was born to Seamus Douglas and Summerlin Aggers Duerr of Wake Forest on Nov. 27, 2008, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces.Grandparents are Dr. Sean and Mary Ellen Duerr of Huntington, Conn., and Fred and Marjie Aggers of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Reba Parsons of Salisbury, Jean Linaberger of Slippery Rock, Pa., and Kathleen O. Duerr of Titusville, Fla.
Emma Ott
A daughter, Emma Marie, was born to Amy E. Wilson and Benjamin T. Ott of Salisbury on Nov. 12, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces. She has a brother, Ethan Carter Ott, 2 1/2, Grandparents are David and Anita Wilson of Winston-Salem, and Tom and Rita Ott of Indiana, Pa. Great-grandparents are June Parker Myers of Asheville, Sue Carter of Bluefield, W. Va., Helen Bowser of Hollidaysburg, Pa., and Charles Ott of Roaring Spring, Pa.
