Matalyn Creech
A daughter, Matalyn Jean, was born to Nikki and Joseph Creech of Arlington, Va., on Nov. 14, 2008, at the Virginia Hospital Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ed Flynn of Florida and the Rev. and Mrs. Harland L. Creech III of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Frances DePersis of Florida, Mr. and Mrs. James Cornelius of Monroe and Dr. Harlan Creech Jr. of Charlotte.David Wagner

Emma Hill
A daughter, Emma Grace, was born to William Todd and Melissa Hall Hill of Pittsboro on Nov. 10, 2008, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are Frank Grady Hall III, Trudy Curran Hall, John William Hill and Mildred Dillon Hill, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Earl Rayvon Curran and June Wyrick Curran of Salisbury.
Hunter Treece
A son, Hunter Ray, was born to Donna Racquel Shehan and Brenton Ray Treece of Salisbury on Aug. 25, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces. Grandparents are Ronnie and Renae Shehan of Salisbury, Tommy and Tracy Howard of Kannapolis, and the late Kenneth Treece. A son, John Edward, was born to JoAnna and Eric Bergen of Salisbury on Nov. 17, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 8.5 ounces. Grandparents are MaryAnna and John Reach and Karen and Harry Bergen, all of Point Pleasant, N.J.
