– Annual retirees’ lunch for all retired VA employees, 1 p.m. Saturday, Ryan’s Restaurant.
– The United House of Prayer for All People kitchen will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
– Mt. Olivet UMC Church bazaar, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, 301 Mt. Olivet Road, Kannapolis. Breakfast biscuits, hot dog lunch.
– Fish dinners, fish sandwiches and baked goods will be sold at the home of Agnes Gray, 1144 Laurel St., Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. Sponsored by Hall’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Missionary.
