Power Point: Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.
ó Abraham Lincoln
Power Thought: Nothing can ruin the direction and morale of an organization more than a person’s unbridled ego. A person’s ability to lead is to understand the purpose of leadership. Stanley Huffy said, “It’s not the position that makes the leader; it’s the leader that makes the position.” You can lead without a title, but nothing is worse than a person with a title who doesn’t know what he’s doing.
ó Doug Dickerson
Power Surge: When you become a leader, you lose the right to think about yourself.
ó Gerald Brooks
