Deadline for posters is 5 p.m.
– J.C. Price American Legion Post 107, 1433 Old Wilkesboro Road, will host a Halloween and crime prevention party from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In addition to food and fun, featured will be Salisbury Police Officer Mark Hunter and police dog, Smoke, Rowan County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Vanhoy and dog, Nero, and Salisbury Fire Department personnel from Station No. 3. All children are welcome. Children 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
