Lexie Childers
A daughter, Lexie Grace, was born to Tracy and Mark Childers of Salisbury on Oct. 6, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 10 pounds, 8 ounces. She has a brother, Luke, 7. Grandparents are Warren and Peggy Harding of Salisbury, and the late Winston “John” and Mary Childers. Great-grandparents are Sadie Roseman and Margaret Hinshaw, both of Salisbury.
Adrianna Moore
A daughter, Adrianna Lynn, was born to Scott and Sabrina Moore of Salisbury on Oct. 15, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Grandparents are Steve and Patty Hartley and Earl and Cindy Moore.
Andrew Arthur
A son, Andrew Bryant, was born to Anissa and Bryan Arthur of Salisbury on Oct. 16, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 10 pounds, 11 ounces. Grandparents are Robert L. Wall Jr. of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Karl A. Arthur of Salisbury and the late Beckie L. Duggins.Mariana Pereira

Grandparents are Ana Victoria Pereira and Roberto Mauricio Pereira of Salisbury and Maria del Carmen Rivera Morelos and Andres Rivera Morelos of Mexico. Great-grandparents are Aminta and Jose Alas, Elsie Pereira and Cipriano Lazo, Josefina Vargas and Anatalio Bustamante.
Aaden Stucker
A son, Aaden Cristopher, was born to Kathleen and Corey Stucker of Salisbury on Oct. 1, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds and 1 ounce. He has two sisters, Caitlin Rebekah, 7, and Madison Catheryn, 4. Grandparents are Jerry and Connie Liechty, of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and J.D. and Pat Stucker of Danville, Iowa. Great-grandparents are Evelyn Truitt, of Mount Union, Iowa, Mary Lou Liechty of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Bob and Cyrene Wagner and Nettie Stucker, all of Danville, Iowa.
Laylah Farmer
A daughter, Laylah Grace, was born to Amanda and Truett Farmer of Rockwell on Sept. 21, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 5 pounds, 4 1/2 ounces. She has a brother, Mason, 5. A daughter, Jennifer Lynn, was born to Ashley Watts and Zachary Rogers of Salisbury on Oct. 16, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. A son, Jackson Pierce, was born to Brooke and Jeff Manheimer of Charleston, S.C., on Sept. 3, 2008, at East Cooper Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce.
