Police investigating armed robberies

Salisbury police investigated three armed robberies of individuals Sept. 22.
The first occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at 103 Lloyd St., where a 37-year-old female reported someone attempted to rob her at gunpoint.
A second robbery at gunpoint occurred at 7:30 p.m. at 402 Park Ave., and the victims were robbed of cash.
A baseball bat was used as a weapon by the two suspects who robbed a 27-year-old man of cash at 9 p.m. at 1502 W. Innes St.

– Leah Victoria Babb, 32, was charged Sept. 20 with misdemeanor possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance at 500 E. Franklin St.
– Vandals damaged City of Salisbury property at 1134 S. Main St. between Sept. 19 and 22.
– Vandals broke the back window in a Home Instead Senior Care vehicle while it was parked at 625 E. Innes St. between Sept. 19 and 22.
– Linda Haycock Beason reported her wallet was stolen from her pocketbook Sept. 22 at 121 N. Main St.
– Joseph Samuel Rankin, 42, was charged Sept. 20 with misdemeanor larceny at Food Lion, 525 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Lova Faye Ross, 44, was charged Sept. 21 with simple assault/simple assault and battery or affray at 214 S. Long St.
– Tasha Michelle Clodfelter, 23, 1614 Standish St., No. 10D, was charged Sept. 22 with felony obtaining property by false pretense at 2010 Statesville Blvd. She was held under $2,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Eric Fair, 20, 790 Fifth St., Spencer, was charged Sept. 22 with felony possession with intent to manufacture a Schedule VI controlled substance at 122 E. Kerr St. He was held under $3,500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Tanesha Lashonda Turner, 19, 810 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., No. 31H, was charged Sept. 22 with simple assault based on a complaint by Jelisa Denise McLane, 200 Grant St., No. 22, East Spencer. Turner was held under $1,000 secured bond pending an Oct. 30 trial date.
– Someone tampered with two vehicles. One is owned by Home Lighting and Supply. The tampering occurred between Sept. 19 and 22 while the vehicle was parked at 3212 S. Main St. The other occurred Sept. 22 while Bryce Charles Vandenberg’s vehicle was parked at 813 Hamilton Drive.
– A fraud that occurred between Sept. 19 and 22 was reported at Carolina Spine and Hand, 1809 Brenner Ave.
– Carmen Robles reported he was a victim of a forgery between March 7, 2006, and Sept. 22.
– Chioma Edith Osakwe reported a Sept. 22 larceny at 600 N. Ellis St.
– Micheal Allan Macfadyn, 16, was charged Sept. 22 with misdemeanor larceny at Books a Million in Salisbury Mall, 1935 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Counterfeit money was passed between Sept. 13 and 23 at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
– Kelly Owen Smith reported a larceny at 1800 E. Innes St. between Sept. 19 and 22.
– Patrick Shane Karriker, a police officer, reported he was assaulted Sept. 23 at 1215 N. Main St.
– Shawn Miguel Clark, 34, 1240 Ramseur Drive, China Grove, was charged Sept. 23 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer in the 200 block of South Arlington Street. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a Nov. 26 trial date.
– A 26-year-old female reported she was assaulted Sept. 23 at 612 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
– Jessica Marie Meacham, 30, 8540 Fisher Road, Rockwell, was charged Sept. 23 with six counts of felony obtaining a controlled substance by fraud/forgery at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St. She was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Tyrone Kareem Smith, 32, 428 W. Thomas St., was charged Sept. 23 with four counts of misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury and one count of felony discharging a firearm into occupied property. He was held under $5,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Melanie Ann Pruitt, 32, 1217 Hillcrest Place, was charged Sept. 24 with misdemeanor larceny of clothing from Kmart, 815 E. Innes St., and with possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held under $500 secured bond pending a Nov. 4 trial date.
– Elizabeth Weaver Woodie reported vandals damaged the tires on her vehicle while it was parked at 210 N. Main St. Sept. 19.
– Shekerra Shanice Roseborough, 16, and Mikkiera Shenekka Blackwell, 17, were charged Sept. 23 with misdemeanor larceny at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
