Staci Maher, broker-in-charge for Dream Weaver Properties, has received the Workforce Housing Certificate.
The certification educates Realtors to work with first-time homebuyers and clients purchasing homes in the affordable price range.
Realtors must attend five educational events within two years to earn the local designation of Workforce Housing Specialist.
Realtors who receive the designation have demonstrated the knowledge and resources to assist clients who have financial obstacles in purchasing a home or who are unfamiliar with the home-buying process.
This includes knowledge of local down payment assistance and loan programs, homeownership education and counseling services, and foreclosure prevention services in the region.
