* Time: 7:30 p.m.
* Records: North Iredell 0-2; West Rowan 1-1
* Series: West Rowan leads 14-3
* Last meeting: West rolled 53-0 in 2007
* Last week: North Iredell lost to North Lincoln 30-14; West Rowan had an open date
* Next week: North Iredell is at Mooresville; West Rowan is at Northwest Cabarrus
* Game notes: Scott Young goes after career win No. 90 in Westís NPC opener. North Iredell shocked the Falcons 22-6 in Olin in 2002. Hard to say if the Falcons are still ticked about that one, but theyíve stuck it to North Iredell substantially ever since ó 42-0, 31-0, 42-16, 45-14 and 53-0.
Former Falcon Justin Avery had two defensive TDs in last yearís romp.
Probably more of the same is in store for North Iredell tonight. The Raiders have been outscored 63-20 in their first two games, and West has had two weeks to stew about a loss at Davie County.
West junior tailback K.P. Parks has not been good news for North Iredell in his career. Heís scored six TDs and carried 30 times for 309 yards.
West would prefer for Parks to have a light load tonight with Northwest Cabarrus coming up next week.
Parks has just been part of a West offense that is generating a county-leading 427 yards per game.
Soph B.J. Sherrill appeared to establish himself as Westís starting quarterback two weeks ago, and he takes fine stats into tonightís game.
Brantley Horton leads county receivers with seven catches, 132 yards and two TDs in two games.
Westís defense stoned North Rowan, but it struggled to contain Davieís passing game.
Chris Smith and Kenderic Dunlap are beasts upfront for the Falcons.
Matt Turchin has kicked a field goal and 10 extra points.
