Renna Linn
A daughter, Renna Davis, was born to Joel T. and Stephanie Hallyburton Linn of Salisbury on Aug. 21, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center- Northeast. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. Grandparents are Joe and Brena Linn of Salisbury, Betsy Johnson of Morganton and Steve Hallyburton of Clemmons. Great-grandparents are Ethel Hallyburton of Glen Alpine, and Ned and Annie Mae Johnson of Morganton.
Griffin Barber
A son, Griffin Richard, was born to Eric and Magen Naves Barber of Salisbury on Aug. 26, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. He has a sister, Gracianna, 2. Grandparents are Bill and Kimberley Naves of Salisbury, Dan and Paula Meagher of Georgetown, Mass., and Linda Barber of Cleveland and the late Rick Barber. A daughter, Abby Grace, was born to Angela and Arthur Odom of Salisbury on July 31, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 9 pounds. She has three brothers, Cody Matthew, 15, Tanner Andrew, 9, and William James Leonard, 18, and a sister, Brittany Renea, 19. Grandparents are Carolyn Leonard and Jerry and Maxine Leonard, all of Salisbury, and Arthur and Catherine Odom of Spencer.
Erikson Trail Olivia Trail
A son, Erikson Joel, and a daughter, Olivia Anne, were born to Eric and Meredith Kesler Trail of Salisbury on Sept. 7, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Erikson weighed 5 pounds, 4 ounces and Olivia weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce. They have a sister, Lillian Nicole, 2. Grandparents are John and Vicki Trail of Lexington and Howell and Teresa Kesler of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Bettie Woodie of China Grove and Elva Kesler of Salisbury.
Zachary Sexton
A son, Zachary David, was born to and Ashley Nicole Tullos Shawn Michael Sexton of Salisbury on Sept. 3, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 10 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Ruth Sexton, Angela Richardson and James Tullos, all of Salisbury, and Scott Strachan of Landis. Great-grandparents are Martha Sexton of Coldwater, Mich., Kathy Morris and Leonard Richardson Jr., both of Salisbury, and Lloyd and Polly Hardwood of Concord.
Stella Stepp
A daughter, Stella Grace, was born to Heather and Derek Stepp of Greenville on Aug. 27, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces. She has a sister, Olivia Reid, 6. Grandparents are Tony and Jeannie Misenheimer of Rockwell, Jim Stepp of Monroe and Susan Stepp of Matthews. Flora B. Rives of Purcellville, Va., is great-grandparent.
Emma Sanders
A daughter, Emma LuAnn, was born to Amanda Lynn Steppert and Brian Keith Sanders of Rockwell on Sept. 1, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Jackie and Joe Howell of Rockwell, MaryAnn and Keith Sanders of China Grove, and Todd and Theresa Steppert of Ashburnham, Mass. Grandparents are Warren and Lisa Hopkins-Ratliff of Southport and Brent Misenheimer, Eleanor and Chuck Corriher and Eben Boyd, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are John and Esther Fisher of Salisbury and Faye Ritchie Perrien of Southport.
