Charlotte woman charged with repeated phone calls to annoy

A Charlotte woman was charged Sept. 4 with telephoning repeatedly for the purpose of annoying based on a complaint by Ronald Lafleur Woodruff Jr., 29 Knox St, according to the Salisbury Police Department.Lori Elizabeth Currie, 29, 10906 Fetherbrook Road, No. 1A, Charlotte, was released on a written promise to appear in court Oct. 23.
In other Police Department reports:
– Tacara Lorraine Cox, 21, was charged Sept. 4 with simple assault.
– Neil Kenneth Dailey, 64, 301 W. Henderson St., was charged Aug. 30 with assault on a female and communicating threats based on a complaint by Bettie Jean Bush. He was held pending a bond hearing. Trial date is Oct. 21.
