Traffic came to a crawl Friday at noon on Innes Street as motorists detoured around a 2 vehicle collision. Salisbury Police say Marcia Watkins of New London went through the red light in her Toyota 4 runner and struck Jennifer Phillips of Gold Hill.

Phillips, driving a Dodge Durango, was traveling on Church Street. Phillips said she saw the 4-runner at the last minute but had no time to stop.

Passenger Tawana Goss also of Gold Hill and her 18 month old son Cary were also in the vehicle.

No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.
