A daughter, Dakota Marie Lynn, was born to Johnathan and Selena Waller of Rockwell on May 6, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. She has a sister, Arrinonna Star, 4. Grandparents are Lori and Jackie Cheeks of Mocksville, John Waller Jr. of Woodleaf, Lois Anders of Bryson City, and Michael and Regina Cervantes of South Carolina. Great-grandparents are Ralph and Linda Absher and Phillis and Jeff Warner, all of Salisbury, John and Betty Waller of Woodleaf, Jean Cheeks of Cleveland.
Brayden WinecoffA son, Brayden Charles, was born to Nikki Lumsden-Winecoff and Tracy Winecoff of Salisbury on March 24, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces. Grandparents are Vickii Lumsden and Earl Lumsden, both of Kannapolis, and Barbara Phelps, and Terry Winecoff, both of China Grove. Great-grandparents are Wade McCurdy of Kannapolis, and Clifford and Elouise Lumsden of China Grove.
Benton Lawson
A son, Benton Ryan, was born to Ryan and Amber Benton Lawson of Salisbury on April 25, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces. He has a sister, Abbey, 2. Grandparents are Jim and Barbara Benton and Jerry and Fran Lawson of Salisbury.
