South Rowan sophomore wins pole vault at state track meet

South Rowan sophomore Maverick Miles won the pole vault at the 3A state track meet Friday in Greensboro. He cleared a personal-best 14 feet, 6 inches on his second attempt and beat three other competitors who had also cleared 14-0.
