A daughter, Za’nariyah Marie, was born to Brittany Clodfelter and Mandrail Woodberry of Salisbury on Feb. 5, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. Grandparents are Angela Clodfelter of Salisbury, John Heiligh of Rockwell, and April and William Woodberry of East Spencer. Great-grandparents are Gerldine Clodfelter and Mary Sullivan, both of Salisbury, and Joann Robinson of East Spencer.
Julia Krokus
A daughter, Julia Marie, was born to Mark and Patricia Krokus of Salisbury on Feb. 8, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 7a ounces. Grandparents are Paul and Irene Krokus of Masontown, Pa., Robert Davis of Greensburg, Pa., and Marie Davis of Gibbon Glade, Pa.
Faith Talley
A daughter, Faith Marie, was born to Shannon and Connie Hill Talley of Salisbury on April 17, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 8.4 ounces. She has a brother, Deven, 3, and a sister, Kayla, 6. Grandparents are Ray Hill of Gold Hill, the late Carolyn Hill and Joann and Dan Talley Jr. of Rockwell. Great-grandparents are Bernice Morgan of Salisbury, Jettie Hill of Gold Hill, and Ganelle Carpenter of Ennice.
Landon Deal
A son, Landon James, was born to Andrew and Carrie James Deal on April 19, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces. He has a brother, Jackson, 4. Grandparents are Billy and Cynthia James of China Grove, and Larry and Diane Deal of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Ola Mae Horton of China Grove, and Jack and Irene Murphy of Concord.
Joshua Douthit
A son, Joshua Andrew, was born to Sean Douglas and Jamie Tench Douthit of Salisbury on April 3, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. He has a sister, Madison Sierra, 6. Grandparents are Larry and Sharon Douthit of Ogden, Kansas, Edward Clary of Stem, and the late Elain Clary.
Nash Cox
A son, Nash Lewis, was born to Gary and Melanie Parnell Cox on April 19, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast. He weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces. Grandparents are Bryant and Pam Parnell of Concord and Robert and Sharon Cox of Rockwell. Great-grandparents are Charlie Fesperman of Concord.
Kylie Oddie
A daughter, Kylie Ann, was born to Brittany Nicole Christensen and Chad William Oddie of Salisbury on April 18, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Rogers and Mr. and Mrs. John Oddie, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dale Christensen of Chester, Md., Ludmilla Rogers of Salisbury and Patricia Cool of Rittman, Ohio.
Karma Maness
A daughter, Karma Shae, was born to Crystal and Christopher Maness on April 18, 2008. She weighed 7 pounds. She has a sister, Kenya, 7. Grandparents are Richard Childers, Sissy Martin, Steve and Donna Manes, and Mike and Judy Mauney, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Larry and Margaret Goodman and Jim and Pat Childers, all of Salisbury. Buck Honeycutt of Salisbury is great-grandparent.
Tucker Hartsell
A son, Tucker Wayne, was born to Susan and Chris Hartsell of Kannapolis on April 29, 2008, at University Hospital, Charlotte. He weighed 9 pounds. He has two sisters, Shelby, 4, and Emma Rae, 18 months. Grandparents are Gary and Linda Patterson of Enochville, and Gary and Pam Hartsell of Davidson. Great-grandparents are Elmer and Elsie Phipps of Landis, and Bill and Louise Elwood of Davidson.
