She has two brothers, Patrick, 9, and Ryan, 5. Grandparents are Nora Craig of Salisbury, the late Ray Craig, and Robert and Carole Street of Norwalk, Conn. Great-grandparent is Joseph Street of Stamford, Conn.
Aiden Coates
A son, Chester Aiden Nicolas, was born to Nicholas and Brynn Howard Coates of Linwood on April 14, 2008, at Carolina’s Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. He has a brother, Brandon Bennett, 9, and two sisters, Mycaela Bennett, 7, and Dana Coates, 6. Grandparents are Tim and Donna Howard and Barry Coates, all of Linwood, and the late Dana Burchette. Great-grandparents are Doris Howard of Linwood, the late Chester Howard, Harry and Beatrice Troutman of Rockwell, and Fred and Martha Burchette of Salisbury.
Haiden Edwards
A son, Haiden Ray, was born to Somer Edwards and Jacob Powers of Salisbury on April 16, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 7.6 ounces. Grandparents are Junnie and Candie Edwards and Candace and Linn Oakley, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Nancy Edwards, Debbie and Roddy Ballard and Joyce and Gary Williams, all of Salisbury. Great-great-grandparents are Frances Wells and Dellie Miller, both of Salisbury.
Ryan Bolden
A son, Ryan James, was born to Susan and Josh Bolden of Asheville on March 12, 2008, at Mission Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces. He has a brother, Daniel, 5, and a sister, Ashley, 2. Grandparents are Ron and Libby Bowers of Salisbury, and Rex and Linda Bolden of Matthews. Great-grandparents are Howard and Genevieve Reeves of Canton, Harvey Morrison of Monroe and Lena Bowers of Salisbury.
Elias Bostic
A son, Elias Dan, was born to Molly and Danny Bostic of Wake Forest on April 18, 2008, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. He has a brother, Isaac, 3a. Grandparents are Bill and Anna Kepley of Salisbury, Danny Bostic Sr. of Gaffney, S.C., and Vicky Waddle of Spartanburg, S.C. Great-grandparents are Jack and Grace Kepley of Salisbury, Evelyn Berrier of Cary, Jacquelyn Bostic of Gaffney, S.C., and Louise Childress of Cliffside.
Stella Smeltzer
A daughter, Stella Rae Ellis, was born to Anne Ellis and husband Joel Smeltzer of Salisbury on April 18, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds. She has a brother, Jude, 5. Grandparents are Louise and Steve Ellis and Eleanor Spencer Sandifer, all of Salisbury, and the late James Smeltzer.
Nora Barringer
A daughter, Nora Elizabeth, was born to Joe and Jessica Barringer of Salisbury on April 18, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. She has a brother, Christopher Joseph, 18 months. Grandparents are Chris and Cathy Shoaf of Salisbury and Steve and Carol Barringer of Charles.
