Pesticide pick-up
Rowan County is sponsoring its 3rd Annual Special Waste Recycling Event, which includes pesticides, on Thursday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at the Recycling Processing Center, 1102 N. Long St., in East Spencer. Take time to inventory old or unused pesticides and plan to eliminate those that are no longer in use.
