CONCORD ó Police say a 15-year-old boy shot and killed a 17-year-old relative at a home on Misenheimer Drive on Tuesday.
The shooting appears to be accidental, Concord police said in a press release.
Officers responded to a report of a fatal shooting at 280 Misenheimer Drive NW shortly before noon Tuesday. They found Christopher Michael Howard, 17, of that address, dead at the scene.
Investigators interviewed the juvenile family member and identified him as the person responsible for the shooting, the press release said. Though the shooting appears accidental, the investigation is continuing. The 15-year-old has been released.
