In a March 6 letter to the Salisbury Post, a writer listed subjects that he said he can’t perceive or know anything about. One of those listed was a “born-again Christian.”
These are traits of a born-again Christian:
A great change takes place in born-again Christians. They have made peace with God. They have a change of heart, a change of attitude. Their old habits die, and they become a new person ó one who makes a home for Christ in his heart. He is always welcomed because he resides there.
It means one has gone before a Christian advocate or minister and confessed his sins aloud to God and acknowledged he’s been guilty all along. He has humbly asked God to forgive him, and he has intentions in his heart to sin no more. Then he has surely told God how grateful he is. Then, at the end of a sinner’s prayer with some Christians, they end in “Jesus’ name” and with other Christians they end in the “name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit.”
If I could have one desire, it would be that we would give God our best and think deeply of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus.
He is the only prophet who died and came back to life and was resurrected.
