Grandparents are Mitch and Katherine Houck of Salisbury, and Romuald and Miroslawa Gil and Philip and Valarie Nevitt, all of Anchorage, Alaska. Great-grandparents are Roy and Lena Generaux of Santa Rosa, Calif.

Troy Hill
A son, Troy Michael, was born to Scott and Sandy Hill of Gold Hill on Nov. 27, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. He has a brother, Bradley Grant, 6, and a sister, Ashley Michelle, 9. Grandparents are Jerry and Brenda Hill of Gold Hill, Russell and Barbara Lambert of Salisbury and the late R.J. Wilson. Great-grandparents are Helen Hill of Gold Hill and Pauline Wycoff of Salisbury. Great-great-grandparents are Robert and Allean Cranford of Randleman.
John Templeton
A son, John Wesley, was born to Drs. Leah and Wes Templeton of Winston-Salem on Jan. 6, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce. He has two sisters, Lauren Elise, 3, and Madeline Elise, 2. Grandparents are John and Barbara Bumgarner of Salisbury, Tom and Mary Aholt of Winston-Salem and the late Dr. Thomas S. Templeton.
