Tired of waiting
for prosecution
I am outraged at our justice system. I would like to know what the holdup is regarding the punishment or prosecution for the six teens charged with killing Michael Brown on May 12, 2006. Yes, 2006! Our justice system needs to get on this case immediately and prosecute to the fullest extent. This crime took a wonderful young man from us. This wait is ridiculous. The six teens probably think they got away with it. Did they?
Our district attorney seems to be moving very slowly on this case. Justice needs to be served, or does that even exist any more?

Gift beyond words
Once again from Spencer, Mecca of the “iron horse”: Nick Bishop’s recent display of international nativity scenes reminds us of the eight words of holy writ, 2 Corinthians, 9:15: “Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.”
Other translators record “indescribable gift.” You might say supernal gift or “all-transcendent marvel,” according to J. Sidlow Baxter, the Scottish evangel.
St. Paul’s carefully chosen word “unspeakable” has to be the ne plus ultra, about the most you can say, other than John 3:16.

Thanks for help
To the sweet and lovely young lady who came to my rescue on Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, when I fell in front of the YMCA and could not get up, many, many thanks. May you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year.
