Bobby Jackson sets a positive example
Thanks to the Salisbury Post for the article regarding Bobby Jackson’s recent project in Salisbury. Thanks for publicizing his kind, generous and responsible behavior.
This is a positive example for others. Athletes and other public figures often make the news when they are involved in a tragic, illegal or irresponsible activity. We all need the encouragement that positive examples bring.
Our city, state, nation and world need to see as many positive examples as frequently, or more frequently, than all the bad examples. Keep up the good publicity.

Thanks for the recent warning regarding the Post’s stance on hunting. I rarely get the local newspaper, preferring a higher quality of journalism, but it’s a shame that many of the local readers who are opposed to hunting have to endure the sick, highly offensive graphics of dead animals.
Fortunately, our society has made great advances, therefore making great strides in reducing many of the archaic and primal ways to the past.As for the children, surely a happy medium between violent video games and the killing of animals could be sought out by good parents.
