The Cabarrus chapter of the American Red Cross plans the following blood drives for December:
– 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday (Dec. 1) J.M. Robinson High School, 4500 Pitts School Road, Concord.
– 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Concord High School, 481 Burrage Road, Concord.
– 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, St. James Catholic Church 139 Manor Ave. SW, Concord.
– 3-7:30 p.m. Monday, Mount Mitchell United Methodist Church, 6001 Old Salisbury Concord Road, Kannapolis.
– 3-7:30 p.m. Dec. 6, Trinity United Methodist Church, 416 E First St., Kannapolis.
– 3-7:30 p.m.Dec. 11, Kannapolis Fire Department, 300 Firehouse Drive, Kannapolis.
– 2:30-7 p.m. Dec. 13, Rocky River Presbyterian Church, 7940 Rocky River Road, Concord.
– 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.Dec. 17, Pleasant Grove AME Zion Church, 9900 Christenbury Road, Concord.
Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. A photo ID is required.
