Helen S. Overcash
Helen Shinn Overcash, 82, 9003 Smith St., died May 8, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte.
Born April 10, 1925, in Mecklenburg County, Mrs. Overcash was a daughter of the late John and Minnie Shinn.
Her husband, Archie Overcash, died Feb. 2, 1985.
Survivors include sons Edgar Overcash, Mooresville, Curtis Overcash, Rockwell, and Larry and Rodger Overcash, both of Kannapolis; brother John Shinn, Salisbury; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Friday (May 11, 2007) at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, conducted by the Rev. Roger Wood.
Neill Funeral Home, Mooresville, was in charge.
