Learn about writing grants

The N.C. Cooperative Extension, in collaboration with Johnson C. Smith University, will offer a two-part training session this Saturday on strategies and tips for the grant writing and non-profit application process from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cabarrus County Center, 715 Cabarrus Ave. W., Concord.
Cabarrus County citizens will receive pertinent information on what grantors look for when reviewing requests for funding; learn how to get funded; review the do and don’t tips of the application process and; obtain assistance for obtaining non-profit 501 c(3) status.
Presenters are Dr. Diane Bowles, assistant vice president and Title III director, and Angela Jeter, continuing education director of Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte.
