Letter: Execution solution: return to guillotine

It seems that our murderers don’t want to suffer like their victims did. Well, I think that the lawmakers should pass a law that, when criminals are executed, they can be allowed to suffer just as much as their victims did. If they don’t want to do that, lets go back to a sure-fire way. Lets start using the guillotine. The pain would be very little or at least very short; death would be guaranteed and instantaneous; and there would be no need for a doctor to be involved.
This would do away with all of the arguments that the bleeding-heart lawyers want to bring up all the time.
