Parker Laughlin Haleigh Laughlin

A son, Parker Andrew, and a daughter, Haleigh Elizabeth, were born to Christopher Garrett and Kathryn McNeely Laughlin of Kannapolis on Dec. 21, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Parker weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and Haleigh also weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces. Grandparents are Kevin and Jill McNeely of Salisbury and Terry and Kathy Laughlin of Springfield, Va. Great-grandparents are Robert and Janet Thomas of Salisbury and George and Winnie McNeely of Mooresville.

Amanda Nollenberger

A daughter, Amanda Leigh, was born to Michael and Sandra Nollenberger of Salisbury on Dec. 27, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. She has a brother, William Michael, 12. Grandparents are James and Gearldine Casper of Salisbury and Bill and Carol Nollenberger of Alpharetta, Ga. Beatrice Nollenberger of Perrysburg, Ohio, is great-grandparent.

Anaston Trexler

A daughter, Anaston Mia, was born to David Brian and Ashlinn Howell Trexler of Gold Hill on Jan. 16, 2007, at NorthEast Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. She has a brother, Jaxon David, 2. Grandparents are Dwight and Carla Howell of China Grove and Doug and Judy Trexler of Gold Hill. Great-grandparents are Bill and Rachel Gaskey and Jim and Carolyn Howell, all of Salisbury and Grover and Vangie Miller and Glenn V. Trexler Jr., all of Gold Hill.

Sampson Chambers

A son, Sampson Zyaire, was born to Shamika Little and Sampson Chambers of Salisbury on Nov. 3, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 61/2 ounces. He has four sisters, Olivia, 14, Shaliyah, 12, Kieara, 10, and Shaiyana, 5. Grandparents are Osborne and Sonya Fields and Leon and Anniemae Chambers, all of Salisbury. Jean Little of Bronx, N.Y., is great-grandparent. Avis F.W. Monroe of Salisbury is great-great-grandparent.

Elizabeth Bell

A daughter, Elizabeth Caroline, was born to Keith and Mandi Bell of Charlotte on Jan. 7, 2007. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. She has a brother, William Jacob, 1. Grandparents are Carole Blair of Salisbury and the late Dr. Bill Blair, and Steve and Karen Bean and Jake and Cathy Bell, all of Lexington, Ky. Elizabeth Huber of Cincinnati, Ohio, is great-grandparent.

Eve Rich

A daughter, Eve Victoria, was born to Alice and Ryan Rich of Salisbury on Dec. 27, 2006, at Baylor Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Jerry and Sandra Simmons of Winston-Salem and Robert and Adrienne Rich of St. Louis, Mo.

Jordan Hamm

A daughter, Jordan Noelle, was born to William J. and Lianna Saleeby Hamm of Nashville, Tenn., on Dec. 18, 2006. She weighed 8 pounds, 91/2 ounces. Grandparents are Wayne and Barbara Saleeby of Salisbury and Frank and Margaret Hamm of Asbury, N.J.

Luke Mesimer

A son, Luke Rollins, was born to Ryan Alexander and Stephanie Bostian Mesimer of Lexington on Jan. 11, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces. He has a brother, Landon Alexander, 3. Grandparents are Harold and Susan Mesimer of Salisbury and Raymond and Linda Bostian of Lexington.

Lillian Head

A daughter, Lillian Grace, was born to Richard and Lisa Head of Salisbury on Jan. 4, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center-University. She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. She has a sister, Madisyn Duffy, 6. Grandparents are John L. Baker of Mobile, Ala., the late Dianne L. Baker, Glenda Deal of Salisbury and the late William Head. Great-grandparents are John H. “Jack” Baker of Mobile, Grace Head of Mocksville and Maggie Saine of Woodleaf.

Kagan Eury

A son, Kagan Eugene, was born to Holly Hawkins and Kazz Eury of Salisbury on Nov. 28, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. Grandparents are Dana Moose, Thomas Hawkins and Robert and Venus Eury, all of Salisbury, and Allen Creech of Kannapolis. Great-grandparents are Margaret Scercy of Salisbury, Evelyn Clodfelter of Lexington, and Dail and Ellie Pharris of China Grove.
