I laughed at the Tuesday (Jan. 23) article that said Sen. Elizabeth Dole needed $20 million to “defend her seat.”

This is crazy.

Liddy, have you stopped to think that maybe if you do a good job in representing your people, that would go a lot further than your money? I liken this article to the one that came up a few years ago, when Oral Roberts told his followers that if he didn’t raise a certain amount of money, he was going to die.

Here is an idea. Powerball is up pretty high, as of this letter. Take a chance, and if you win, defend your “seat”; if you lose, don’t.
