Piedmont Players buys Friendly Cue

Piedmont Players Theatre Inc. has bought the Friendly Cue Billiards building at 131 E. Fisher St. with plans to create a second theater meant mainly for children’s productions.
The community theater organization paid Friendly Cue owner Larry Lowe $340,000 for the property, located at the corner of East Fisher and South Lee streets.
