Clyde Overcash of Salisbury, who deals in antiques and other things that have some age on them, gave us this picture of Mary B. Deal’s first grade at Enochville Elementary School.

The name of Norris Sherrill, a former principal, is also on the picture, but he isn’t, and there is no date nor other indication of when it was taken or who the children are.

But it’s certainly an attractive classroom full of good-looking boys and girls smiling for the camera.
