Letter: Support overwhelming
On Dec. 4, 2006, our 8-year-old daughter, Peyton Rodgers, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. On Dec. 7, she had the tumor removed at Carolinas Medical Center. Our family has been overwhelmed by the support that we have gotten from the community.
We wanted to say thank you.
Thank you for all of the phone calls, cards, gifts and, especially, the prayers. For the many churches that have listed Peyton on their prayer lists, we are very grateful. We are also grateful for all of the financial contributions that many of you have made. Most of all, we want to thank all of you for your prayers. Without your prayers and Peyton’s faith, she wouldn’t be doing as well as she is.
We ask that you continue to pray for her as the Lord heals her body. May the Lord bless you all.
