Harold William Barrier and Jennie Wilhelm Barrier of Salisbury celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a reception with close friends and family at Liberty Commons Nursing Center on Dec. 31, 2006. The Barriers were married Jan. 4, 1947, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell by the Rev. Ernest Misenheimer.

Both retired, Harold and Jennie have two children, son Gray Barrier of Greeley, Colo., and daughter Susan Giessler and husband Randy of Faith.
