TORONTO — It was a game of perspective exercises.
Gilbert Arenas pegged Washington’s loss on the early game time. Chris Bosh credited Toronto’s win to having a full team for the first time in almost a month.
“I don’t think we’ve ever played well on 1 o’clock games,” Arenas said after Bosh had 24 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Raptors to a 116-111 victory over the Wizards on Sunday.
“In the NBA that’s a weird time, especially for your body because that’s usually your practice time. A 1 o’clock practice, you know how that goes.”
Arenas had 33 points, but went 7-for-19 from the field for the Wizards, whose three-game winning streak ended.
T-Wolves 103, Rockets 99
MINNEAPOLIS — Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 13 rebounds to help the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Houston Rockets 103-99 in overtime on Sunday.
Mark Blount continued his recent strong play for Minnesota, adding 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Tracy McGrady scored 31 points for Houston, his fourth straight game with 30 or more, but Houston’s four-game winning streak was snapped. Shane Battier added 20 points for the Rockets.
Spurs 110, Grizzlies 96
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Manu Ginobili scored a season-high 34 points as San Antonio snapped its first three-game losing streak of the season.
