Letter: New chapel will serve community
Earlier this month, all Rowan County citizens were blessed with an early Christmas present when Rowan Regional Medical Center opened and dedicated its beautiful interfaith chapel, located on the first floor, between the main lobby and the new patient tower.
This new chapel was made possible through the gifts of the Rowan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, the Carrol Fisher family and thousands of citizens who are supporting the Partners in Progress Capital Campaign.
At a time when faith and religion play such an important role in our lives — and especially in the healing process — it is our hope and prayer that this new chapel will help provide all our patients and their families with a full measure of God’s blessings when they are often needed the most.
The next major phase of this campaign will be the conversion of the medical center to an all-private room facility and the construction of the new heart and vascular center. It is an exciting time for Rowan County and your medical center, and we thank you for your continued support which has made all this possible.
