NEW YORK — Channing Frye forced the third overtime with a buzzer-beating jumper, Jamal Crawford took over from there and the New York Knicks outlasted Richard Hamilton and the Detroit Pistons 151-145 Wednesday night.

The Knicks withstood their third overtime game in 10 days and Hamilton’s career-high 51 points. They improved to 4-0 in OT this season, including a pair of triple-overtime games.

Crawford finished with 29 points, nine in the third overtime. He carried the Knicks after Stephon Marbury fouled out with a season-high 41 points in the second extra period.

Bucks 112, Grizzlies 96

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Andrew Bogut and Michael Redd each scored 20 points to help the Bucks win their sixth straight game.Milwaukee is on its longest winning streak in four years. The Grizzlies have lost five in a row and 14 of 16.

Lakers 106, Magic 93

ORLANDO, Fla. — Kobe Bryant scored 27 points and Smush Parker added a season-high 20, sending the Los Angeles Lakers to a 106-93 win over the Orlando Magic.

Grant Hill had 20 points for Orlando and Jameer Nelson added 15 points and seven assists. Dwight Howard had 12 points and eight rebounds.

Cavaliers 89, Hawks 76

ATLANTA — LeBron James scored 27 points and the Cavaliers handed the Hawks their fifth consecutive loss.

Cleveland, which had won only three of 11 road games this season, won for the sixth straight time in Atlanta.

Rockets 96, Nets 71

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Shane Battier hit a career-high seven 3-pointers and scored 23 points to help Houston get the win.

Tracy McGrady added 17 points and six assists for the Rockets, who snapped a two-game losing streak and won for only the third time in nine games.

Raptors 100, Timberwolves 97

TORONTO — T.J. Ford scored 28 points to lead Toronto to the win.

Anthony Parker added 19 points for the Atlantic Division-leading Raptors, who are 6-4 without leading scorer Chris Bosh (left knee injury).
