Letter: A committed partner

Partners In Learning Child Development and Family Resource Center is about educating young children and providing family support services. We have been so successful over the years that we have outgrown our current facilities.

Karen Alexander has volunteered her time to assist us in finding a solution. She saw a need and stepped up to the plate to help us find a way to expand and enhance our program in order to better serve Rowan County’s youngest citizens. Generosity is fundamental to the concept of volunteering your time, material resources, knowledge, thought and physical support.

In today’s world, we all commonly face the same issues. The increased pace of life, the significant challenges and competition individuals face in their careers, in caring for family and others, all make finding time to volunteer increasingly difficult. And yet, through Karen’s volunteerism, she has shown a fundamental commitment to Rowan County’s future, an active form of good citizenship.

Thank you, Karen Alexander, for your generosity to Partners In Learning.
